Did Hitler find ALIENS? Russia finds hidden Nazi chest with bizarre skulls

The chest, bearing the insignia of the Nazi Ahnenerbe institute, was found in rural Southern Russia.

It was unearthed in Kamennomostsky, a village in the Adygea region, according to Russia’s Interfax news agency.

And Igor Ogay, who heads up the local branch of Russia’s Geographic Society, said researchers described the skulls as alien.

“The fact is they were interested in places of power”

The Ahnenerbe was founded by , to research the cultural history of the aryan race.

It attempted to prove that a mythological Nordic race, characterised by fair skin, hair and eyes, once ruled the world.

Speaking today, Mr Ogay said the find consisted of “two interesting skulls and the chest with the [Ahnenerbe] logo.”

He claimed he’d showed the skulls to reseacher Vladimir Malikov, who described the conditions they were in.

Mr Malikov said they had no jaws attached, had a hole for the spine and looked “somewhat similar to the aliens”.

Nobody knows how the chest and the skulls are connected, but Mr Ogay had a theory as to what attracted Ahnenerbe to the area.

He believes that they may have been interested in Adygea’s dolmens – ancient tombs dating back thousands of years.

“What connects the skull with the activities of the Ahnenerbe organization is hard to say,” said Mr Ogay.

“But the fact is they were interested in places of power, such as dolmens. After all, they have some on German soil.”

Yet it’s not the first time such a find has been reported in Adygea, with similar reports emerging earlier this year, in January.

It’s as yet unclear if these are the same skulls and they have undergone further analysis; ME has contacted Interfax for comment.
